PHOTOS: Woman with Mental Illness Gives Birth to Baby Girl by Roadside
On Wednesday, a woman reportedly suffering from mental illness gave birth to a baby girl by the roadside in Suleja, Niger State. The delivery happened in full view of the public, with only two kind-hearted individuals stepping forward to assist the woman in her distress.
Ordinary Sadiq Asa, a radio presenter in Suleja and one of the Good Samaritans, shared the experience on his Facebook page. Asa described how he and another woman helped the laboring mother, who was in severe pain.
Their efforts were successful, and the woman delivered a healthy baby girl. Following the birth, they took the mother and her newborn to the General Hospital in Suleja for medical care.
Asa expressed his joy and gratitude on social media, writing: “What a day in my life 🙏
“A Woman With Mental Illness was Seriously wailing in pain on the event of giving birth and everyone running away… A good Samaritan Woman And I take the bold steps to help her out against all odds.
“At Last, it was successful 🙏… God is indeed Wonderful 🙏….. What a beautiful baby girl… We later took her to General Hospital Suleja for further Treatment….
“Alhamdulilah🙏 I am so happy.”
