The student, who had returned to class with an eye-catching and festive hairstyle, was confronted by the lecturer’s decision to cut her hair. The school’s dress code prohibits such elaborate hairstyles, especially as they may pose hygiene and safety risks in clinical settings.

For example, nurses wearing long braids while attending to patients in hospitals or clinics isn’t appropriate. Knowing your profession’s standards helps you avoid situations like this.”
