According to Eyes Of Lagos, Nigerian artists have once again dominated the platform, reinforcing Nigeria’s prominent role in the global music scene.
Asake’s remarkable rise continued in 2024, following the release of his third album, Lungu Boy. The album broke records, amassing 18 million streams in its first week alone on Spotify Nigeria. Since his breakthrough in 2022, Asake has maintained a steady climb in the industry, consistently dropping hit singles and albums that have earned him a loyal fanbase. His unique sound and high-profile collaborations helped secure his spot at the top of the streaming charts this year.
Seyi Vibez secured the second spot, following another successful year with the release of his new project and contributions to his label’s compilation album, Vibe INC.
