President Bola Tinubu has officially acknowledged Chief Ajuri Ngelale’s decision to take an indefinite leave of absence from his role as the President’s spokesperson.

On Saturday morning, Ngelale announced his leave, citing medical issues affecting his family. He indicated that he had submitted a formal notice to the Chief of Staff to the President.

In response, the presidency released a statement that evening, confirming receipt of Ngelale’s memo. President Tinubu expressed his understanding and sympathy for Ngelale’s situation, acknowledging the personal and health reasons behind his decision.
