Your Frivolous Attacks On Oyetola, Oyebamiji Won’t Prevent Your Defeat In 2026 – Osun APC Slams Adeleke, Lieutenants

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed its pity to the embattled and politically stranded Governor Ademola Adeleke and his cohorts who have become belligerent over their visibly disadvantaged position in the political calculation of the state.
We have observed the orchestrated efforts of the injured and embittered Mr. Adeleke and his co-travellers their co-ordinated efforts to either sponsor hatchet writers or directly heaping tantrums on the leader of our party in the state, His Excellency, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, now the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and the Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, the recently elected governorship candidate of our party who emerged in a seamless consensus primary election penultimate Saturday.
We could see that there have been sleepless nights in the political camp of Mr. Adeleke who can neither be described as the Peoples Democratic Party or ACCORD members as their voyage in the changing of parties is a project in progress.
All the fruitless efforts of the Adeleke kitchen cabinet members and their uninformed or misled foot soldiers to downplay the obviously failed and uneventful over three-year-old administration of the state government are being critically observed and noted by the right-thinking members of the society.
The glaring monumental failure of the Governor Adeleke-led administration is predicated on the result of a leader who absolutely fails to plan but largely dependable on impulse which have landed the shameless and grossly unproductive administration on the wrong side of history as it won’t have any rival as the worst government in the political history of this state.
We want to remind Governor Adeleke and his cohorts that it is neither Oyetola nor Oyebamiji that was responsible for their ill-fated status in the political history of the state of which their imminent defeat through the 8th August, 2026 election is a done deal.
Was it Oyetola or Oyebamiji that instructed you to be running your government with deceits and subterfuge which have subsequently boomeranged and transited you into your current political parriah?
Was it the duo of our leaders who directed you to perform abysmally in the health, education, transport, security, welfare, provision of social infrastructure, finance, local government and chieftaincy affairs sectors among others?
Was it not because you said you could run the affairs of the state better that made you and your mafia to forcefully seize the government by the jugular by violence across the state during all the elections in 2022 and 2023 which resulted in the slaughtering of no fewer than 30 of the members and supporters of our party across the state?
Was it Alhaji Oyebamiji, our tested, highly lettered, responsible, resourceful and witty personality that was behind your invocation of the obnoxious Executive Orders with which you witchhunted, victimised, harassed and tormented your real and perceived political adversaries during the early stage of your administration when you were behaving like a drunk bull in a well-stocked China shop?
It is expedient to tell Mr. Adeleke and his cohorts that the metaphorical snake has crawled out from its abode of yesterday and the Osun State people who are wiser have seen that he is in the state to deceive them as his best is not enough to transform the state to a desirable level compared to what is obtainable in other states.
How can the former state Governor Oyetola and the incoming Governor Oyebamiji be blamed or held responsible for the current administration’s blowing off of the accumulated one trillion naira in three years without any worthwhile achievements to show off for the common patrimony?
When the head is rotten, the torso is definitely in a serious problem. Was it Oyetola or Oyebamiji who enlisted the supposed head of his government in the hands of the governor’s family running same by proxy while the constitutionally-recognised head of the government was busy dancing Asunto from Lagos to Abuja to the United States of America when his counterparts were busy thinking out of the box to bail out their states?
Another anomalies are the frantic efforts of Mr. Adeleke and his co-travellers to play unmerited victim in the ongoing logjam over the delay in the payment of the federal allocations to the local government council areas under the superintendent of the reinstated APC local government chairmen and councillors by the virtue of the 10th February, 2025 Court of Appeal judgement which was not appealled by any party.
Why is it difficult for Mr. Adeleke and his co-travellers to be truthful enough to explain to those who are affected by the ongoing impasse in the local government councils in the state like our revered traditional rulers, primary school teachers, primary health care delivery staff among others that it is the state government that is preventing the allocations from being paid by the ways of instituting frivolous litigations against it in different courts in the land? No fewer than six court cases instituted by the PDP and the state government in this regard are ongoing.
The observed twisting of the various court judgements in favour of our party by the PDP media e-rats and their sponsors aimed at distorting, misinforming and confusing the unsuspecting innocent members of the public is only compounding the irredeemable challenges of the PDP as they are only engaging in the fruitless venture to keep their scattered members and supporters together.
We want to reiterate our resolve that we are going into the 8th August, 2026 governorship election in order to win with the votes of the good people of the state and restore back the lost glory of the state.
