How Police Arrest Eight for Stealing Water Treatment Chemicals
The Ogun State Police Command has apprehended eight individuals accused of stealing water treatment chemicals. The suspects were caught after a series of thefts at various locations where these chemicals are stored.
The arrests were confirmed by the state police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, who provided details of the incident. The suspects are believed to have been part of a larger network involved in the theft and illegal sale of the chemicals.
Odutola stated, “Following reports of missing water treatment chemicals, our operatives launched an investigation that led to the arrest of eight suspects. They were caught in the act and have confessed to their involvement in the thefts.”
The police have assured the public that they are intensifying efforts to crack down on similar criminal activities and ensure that those involved face justice. Further investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend any additional suspects linked to the crime.
