Asari-Dokubo Accuses Tinubu of Fueling Instability in Rivers State with Wike’s Support

Asari Dokunbo
Former Niger Delta militant leader Mujahid Asari-Dokubo has accused President Bola Tinubu of supporting Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, in efforts to disrupt peace in Rivers State.
During a discussion on Arise TV’s Morning Show on Tuesday, Asari-Dokubo expressed his disappointment with Tinubu, stating that Wike has been allowed to “run amok,” including allegedly securing court rulings to remove the state governor, Sim Fubara.
“As a stakeholder in Rivers State, I feel let down by the President’s actions,” Asari-Dokubo said. “For Tinubu to permit his minister to act with such disregard, seeking judgments and threatening the people of Rivers, is unacceptable. Their goal appears to be the removal of Fubara, but I warn that if that happens, there will be consequences.”
Further details are expected to follow.
