Rufai Oseni Predicts Obi’s Exit from ADC, Claims It Could Split Votes and Benefit Tinubu in 2027

Journalist Rufai Oseni has suggested that Peter Obi might part ways with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), potentially dividing opposition votes and making it easier for President Bola Tinubu to secure re-election in 2027.

Meanwhile, the ADC leadership has clarified that the party is not backing any particular presidential candidate at this stage. Instead, the focus is on creating a political platform that resonates with the majority of Nigerians.

“We’re working to build a party structure that can inspire hope and unity across the country. If we don’t act now, this ship called Nigeria could go under, and we’ll all be affected,” said David Mark, the party’s interim chairman.

Mark emphasized collective ownership of the party, calling on members to demonstrate that the ADC stands apart from traditional political movements in

Nigeria.
