… _Pledges Quality Representation When Elected as Osogbo Federal Constituency Representative_

The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidate for Osogbo Federal Constituency, Prince Abdulrasheed Muideen Aderemi, popularly known as Romeo, has declared that his victory at the party’s primary election is divinely ordained and cannot be overturned by any form of manipulation.

Romeo made the declaration following his emphatic victory at the APC House of Representatives primary election held nationwide on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

The frontline aspirant emerged victorious by a wide margin, securing overwhelming support from party members across the four local government areas (Osogbo, Olorunda, Irepodun, Orolu) that constitute Osogbo Federal Constituency. His victory reflects the confidence reposed in him by party leaders, and grassroots members who believe in his vision for effective and impactful representation.

Expressing profound gratitude to the leadership of the party and all members who participated in the exercise, Romeo described the outcome as a clear affirmation of the democratic will of APC members in the constituency.

“I return all glory to Almighty God for this victory. I am sincerely grateful to our respected leaders, delegates, and party faithful across Osogbo Federal Constituency for the trust and confidence they have placed in me,” he said.

Reacting to reports that some unsuccessful aspirants are attempting to manipulate the outcome of the primary, Romeo maintained that no amount of scheming can alter a mandate freely given by the delegates and ordained by God.

“This victory is ordained by God and confirmed by the overwhelming support of our delegates. No amount of scheming, manipulation, or political pressure can upturn what God has already settled,” he stated.

He called on all party members to remain calm and united, emphasizing that the APC must now close ranks and focus on securing victory at the general election.

“This is a time for reconciliation and unity. We are one progressive family, and together we must work to ensure a decisive victory for our great party in the forthcoming election,” Romeo added.

The APC candidate also reiterated his commitment to providing quality representation that will bring meaningful development to all communities within Osogbo Federal Constituency.

According to him, his legislative priorities will include youth empowerment, job creation, educational support, women development, healthcare improvement, and the attraction of critical constituency projects.

“By the grace of God, I will offer accessible, accountable, and result-driven representation. I will be a strong voice for our people and work tirelessly to deliver the dividends of democracy to every part of our constituency,” he assured.

Romeo further pledged not to take the confidence reposed in him for granted and promised to justify the mandate through dedicated service, integrity, and responsiveness to the needs of the people.

He concluded by extending a hand of fellowship to all co-aspirants and party stakeholders, urging them to join forces with him in the collective interest of the APC and the people of Osogbo Federal Constituency.

“This victory belongs to all of us. Together, we will strengthen our party and deliver the quality representation our people deserve.”
