A former Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sherrif has held a meeting with his successor in office and current Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima.
Sharing the development, Shettima in a Twitter post on Thursday said he is grateful for the wisdom shared during the meeting with his predecessor.
The Vice President added that the meeting has renewed his commitment to serving the people and working for a better Nigeria.
I am honoured to host my former principal and predecessor as the Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff. I am not only grateful for the wisdom shared during our meeting, but also bolstered to remain steadfast in my commitment to carrying forward the vision of serving the people and working for the betterment of our nation.
