How Police Prevent Kidnapping of Kaduna Monarch
The Kaduna State Police Command has confirmed that an attempted abduction of Alhaji Umar Musa, the Paramount Ruler of Ninzo Chiefdom in Sanga Local Government Area, was thwarted by gunmen on Wednesday night.
According to ASP Mansir Hassan, the command’s spokesperson, the chief’s wife is still missing.
Hassan reported that security forces have been dispatched to the forests surrounding Sanga to search for her.
The Ninzo Development Association, through a statement by its President and Secretary, Prof. Moses Audi and Silas Anche, condemned the attempted kidnapping of their traditional ruler, which resulted in the disappearance of his wife.
The association called for calm and urged the government to fulfill its responsibility to ensure security.
