The Kaduna State Police Command has confirmed that an attempted abduction of Alhaji Umar Musa, the Paramount Ruler of Ninzo Chiefdom in Sanga Local Government Area, was thwarted by gunmen on Wednesday night.
According to ASP Mansir Hassan, the command’s spokesperson, the chief’s wife is still missing.
Hassan reported that security forces have been dispatched to the forests surrounding Sanga to search for her.

The association called for calm and urged the government to fulfill its responsibility to ensure security.
