NDLEA Raids Lagos Warehouse, Seizes 82,000 Bottles of Codeine; See The Numbers Arrested
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has conducted a significant raid on a warehouse in the Kirikiri area of Lagos State, uncovering a large stash of codeine-based syrup.
In a statement issued on Sunday, NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi announced that four individuals linked to the importation and distribution of the opioid were apprehended. Babafemi detailed that the expansive warehouse, located in the Comfort Oboh area of Kirikiri, was discovered through an intelligence-led operation by NDLEA officers.
