A tragic car accident early this morning on MCC Road in Calabar has resulted in the deaths of three young women and has deeply shaken the local community.

The incident occurred during what began as a late-night outing for the occupants of a recently purchased white Mercedes GLK. The peaceful pre-dawn hours were abruptly disrupted by a violent crash that drew nearby residents to the scene. They discovered the severely damaged vehicle, highlighting the severity of the collision.

Eyewitnesses report that the car, part of a group traveling on MCC Road, veered off course when the driver, a young man, lost control. The impact was fatal for three of the four female passengers, while the driver survived.

One girl was found with severe injuries, including a dismembered body, and another survivor suffered multiple fractures and was rushed to a local hospital for emergency care.
The community is in mourning, grappling with the loss of young lives. Initial reports suggest that excessive speed may have played a role in the tragic accident.
