Presidency React to Rift Between Tinubu and Shettima, Affirms VP’s Role
The Presidency has refuted claims of a rift between President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima. Stanley Nkwocha, Shettima’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications, emphasized that Shettima remains a crucial member of Tinubu’s administration, with the President’s complete trust and support.

In a statement celebrating Shettima’s 58th birthday, Nkwocha dismissed the rumors as “illogical conspiracy theories” that do not reflect the reality at Aso Rock.
The statement praised Shettima’s unwavering commitment, highlighting his supportive role in Tinubu’s administration and his positive influence on its collaborative efforts. Nkwocha also noted Shettima’s genuine praise for Tinubu, calling him a “good soul” and a trustworthy leader.
