Security Man Hangs Himself In Kano

There is shock and sadness in Kankarofi ward of Kano Local Government Area following the tragic death of a young man who reportedly hanged himself.
The young man, identified as Abba Kabir Ma’aji, was found dead by hanging around 1:30 on Tuesday.
Several witnesses who were present when the incident occurred confirmed the news to Daily Post.
Residents of the neighborhood were stunned by the tragic event.
One young man, who requested to remain anonymous, said, “It’s truly terrifying to hear that someone has hanged himself. we were informed that Abba had taken his own life.”
A neighbor added, “We were sitting when we heard screams coming from inside the house. When we entered, we saw him being taken down from the rope, and his body was laid in the middle of the room.”
The neighbor further mentioned, “The community leader has been informed, and he is trying to contact the police to report the incident, but the body has not yet been prepared for burial.”
Daily Post’s investigation revealed that the deceased was a security officer working with a private security company in Kano, and there were no apparent signs of mental instability.
As of now, the reason for Abba Kabir’s tragic death remains unclear.
The Kano State Police Command is expected to provide further details on this unusual incident in the coming hours as there is no immediate response as at the time of filing this report.
