Senator Umeh Appointed Chancellor Of Tansian University (Photos)
FCG reports that the Board of Trustees of Tansian University Umunya, Anambra State has appointed the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Dr. Victor Umeh OFR as Chancellor of the institution.
FCG gathered that the appointment was officially conveyed by the Vice Chancellor of Tansian University, Professor Eugene Okoye Nwadialor, during a courtesy visit to Senator Umeh on Friday in Aguluzigbo.
Professor Nwadialor stated that Umeh’s appointment was based on his enviable track records, leadership qualities, Integrity and commitment to the development of Education in Nigeria.
According to a statement issued by the Secretary BoT/University Counsel, Rev. Fr. Dr. E. S. C. Obiorah, the appointment took effect on May 30 2023.
Responding, Senator Victor Umeh thanked the board for finding him worthy of the prestigious appointment, assuring the board of his total commitment in the discharge of his responsibilities.
