You Cannot Bring PDP Spirit Into APC – Bashir Ahmad Issues Warning to Wike
Former presidential media aide, **Bashir Ahmad**, has cautioned **FCT Minister Nyesom Wike** against introducing disruptive tactics into the **All Progressives Congress (APC)**.
Ahmad emphasized that the “spirit” of the **Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)** has no place within the ruling party, responding to ongoing tensions between Wike and **APC National Secretary Senator Ajibola Basiru**.
In a post on X, Ahmad wrote: “Senator Ajibola Basiru has clearly reminded Wike that merely supporting **President Bola Tinubu** does not make him a member of the APC. Millions of Nigerians outside the party also support the President, and Wike’s support is no different.
“Any attempt to destabilize the APC in Rivers State will not be tolerated. The PDP mindset cannot and will not be imported into our party.”
