No One is Above the Law – Dethroned Emir Ado Bayero Speaks Out
Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, the 15th Emir of Kano, has emphasized that no one is above the law and urged the public to stay calm.
Speaking from his temporary residence upon returning to the state after his dethronement, Bayero expressed confidence that justice will be served.
In his address, delivered in Hausa, the former Emir called for patience and adherence to the law during the ongoing legal proceedings. “I urge the people to remain law-abiding while we await the outcome of this legal matter. We appeal to the authorities to ensure justice is served. Kano is a significant state in Nigeria, and whatever affects Kano affects the entire nation. May peace prevail in Kano. We pray for Allah to bless Kano with just and responsible leaders. Justice is the path forward. No one is above the law, and we will accept the legal outcome. I appreciate the concern shown by everyone.”
He concluded by reaffirming his faith in the judicial process and continued prayers for peace in Kano. “As I said, justice will take its course. We will keep praying for peace in Kano State. May Allah the Almighty protect us.”
