VeryDarkMan vs Prophet Fufeyin: Prophet Fufeyin Reacts to Misusing NAFDAC’s Name

Jeremiah Fufeyin, Senior Prophet of Christ MercyLand Deliverance Ministry in Abuja, has refuted claims that his ministry has exploited the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) name to deceive Nigerians regarding spiritual items.

In a statement released on Sunday by the church’s media team and signed by Sophia Iloyd, the church labeled these allegations as false and misleading.

The church’s response came after NAFDAC issued a statement warning the public about the ministry’s alleged misuse of its name.

According to the church, it adheres strictly to legal regulations, including those set by NAFDAC, and operates under the constitutional rights of religious freedom and expression.

The statement emphasized that the church’s activities are aligned with its religious beliefs and the teachings of the Bible, and it does not engage in the production or sale of consumable goods.

The church also addressed a pending complaint by an individual named Mr. Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkblackman, who has brought various allegations against the church. The church has initiated legal action against Otse.

The church received a letter from NAFDAC on August 27, 2024, requesting an inquiry into its use of miracle and healing items but claimed it was given less than 12 hours to respond. The church has since communicated its position to NAFDAC.

Additionally, the church alleged that Otse presented forged receipts to support his claims, noting discrepancies in these receipts compared to those issued by the church’s accounting office.

“We have informed NAFDAC that the receipts in question are under police investigation. Despite our correspondence, we have not received any feedback from NAFDAC,” the statement concluded.
