FRSC Confirms Tragic Death of Makarfi’s Son in Auto Accident

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed the tragic death of Faisal Makarfi, son of former Kaduna State Governor Sen. Ahmed Makarfi. The accident occurred on Saturday along the Kaduna-Kano highway.
In an update provided by Kaduna State Sector Commander Kabir Nadabo, he noted that two other individuals involved in the crash remain unconscious. The incident took place at Lambar Zango on the Zaria-Kaduna Highway at approximately 6:15 PM.
According to Nadabo, the KIA vehicle carrying Faisal lost its front right tire while traveling from Zaria to Kaduna, resulting in a loss of control and subsequent rollover. A response team from RS1.17 Birnin Yero was dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, they learned that the father of one of the other victims had arranged for medical transport to an undisclosed hospital in Kaduna. The rescue team then cleared the road to restore traffic flow. Sadly, it was later confirmed that Faisal Makarfi succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at the hospital, while the driver and another passenger are still receiving treatment.
