OSUN COMMISSIONER, MAYOWA ADEJOORIN, ALLEGEDLY ARRESTED OVER GUNS FOUND IN VEHICLE

The Osun State Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation, Hon. Mayowa Adejoorin, was reportedly arrested on Saturday after security operatives allegedly discovered guns and ammunition in his vehicle during a stop-and-search operation.
Adejoorin was said to have been in the company of some operatives of the Osun State Security Network Agency, popularly known as Amotekun, who were reportedly providing security for him.
The development reportedly followed the violence that erupted around the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally in Ilesa on Saturday, where witnesses alleged that some armed security operatives attached to the Commissioner fired shots in the direction of people at the rally.
