Boat Capsizes in Niger State; See Reasons

A boat carrying passengers from Mundi Village to Gbajibo Village in Mokwa local council of Niger State capsized after leaving on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, following the local market day. Tragically, the vessel was carrying more than 200 people when the incident occurred.Â
Rescue efforts have so far led to the recovery of several bodies, but over 100 individuals remain unaccounted for.
