It is with a deep sense of sorrow and solemn reflection that I received the news of the transition of His Royal Majesty, Oba Felix Olaniyan Oyeniyi Oyelade II, JP, the Onijabe of Ijabe Land in Odo-Otin Local Government Area of Osun State.

Oba Felix Oyelade II was a distinguished royal father whose reign was defined by exemplary leadership, peace, and an unwavering commitment to the progress of Ijabe and Osun State at large.

As a custodian of culture and compassionate leader, Kabiyesi devoted his life to fostering unity and driving community-led development across Odo-Otin Local Government.

His royal wisdom, humility, and peaceful disposition will be sorely missed within the Traditional Council and across the State.

The departure of such a revered traditional ruler is a monumental loss, not only to the people of Ijabe Land but to the entire Osun Central Senatorial District.

Kabiyesi’s noble deeds and the enduring legacy of service he left behind will forever remain etched in our memories.

On behalf of my family and the entire All Progressives Congress (APC) family in Osun Central, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the royal family, the Onijabe-in-Council, the Odo-Otin Local Government Traditional Council, and the good people of Ijabe Town.

May Almighty God grant the soul of our departed monarch peaceful rest, and give the Royal Family and the people of Ijabe the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
